The preset used to make this particular ball can be found at Bejewelled. |

Finished Product
I've put this on deep blue to show the lack of jaggies :) |
|
| 1. Open new image - 100x100, Transparent, 16 Million Colors. | |
| 2. Create a new layer, name it shape if you like. | |
| 3. Click 'o' to open your tool palette. | |
| 4. Choose your selection tool and set the feather to 2 and make sure antialias is checked. | |
| 5. Draw a circle and fill with white. Notice how the white doesn't reach all the way to the edge. | |
| 6. Go to ShapeShifter and add either the Bejewelled preset (if you have it) or create your own ball. Click the tick to go back to PSP. | |
| 7. Go to Selection>Modify>Contract and contract by 1. | |
| 8. Invert your selection (Selections>Invert) and press the Delete key on your keyboard twice. Alternatively you can press Crtl+X twice. | |
| 9. That's it, that nasty white edge has gone! | |
| 10. The reason I placed this on a new layer was so I could add my background underneath it! | |
| *HINT* To add a drop shadow to this ball, draw a rectangle (with antialias on) around the outside of the ball, then click on the ball itself. Open your layer palette (click l on the keyboard) and choose the original layer. Go to Selections>Modify>Contract and contract by 1. Add your drop shadow, then go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible. Then when you paste your ball it will have a nice little drop. | |
