| 1. Open new image, 400x150
- White - 16 Million colors. |
| 2. On your color palette,
set your foreground color to white and the background color to dark grey.
Try RGB-64,64,64. |
| 3. Fill your new image.
Rectangulr gradient, Match Mode=RGB, Tolerance=100, Opacity=100. |
| 4. Go to Image>Noise>Add.
Use setting: 50% Uniform. |
| 5. Go to Colors>Greyscale.
Then go to Colors>Increase Color Depth>16 Million |
| 6. Go to Image>Blur>Gaussian
Blur. Use setting: Radius 1.50 |
| 7. Go to Image>Blur>Motion
Blur. Use settings: Direction 135, Intensity 40. Repeat this step. |
| 8. Go to Image>Noise>Add.
Use the settings 3% Uniform. |
| 9. Select your Text tool.
Position your tool in the middle of your image. Add some text, making sure
Antialias is selected and Floating is deselected. |
| 10. Next, go to Image>Effect>Cutout.
Use the settings: Shadow Color White, Opacity-70, Blur-1, Offset-1x1. |
| 11. Repeat last step changing
settings to: Shadow Color Black, Offset -1x-1. |
| 12. The last step is to
go to Image>Effect>Drop Shadow. Use the settings: Color Black, Opacity
100, Blur 10, Offset 1x1. |
| **HINT** If you leave the
text on the background, it looks like a steel plate. Great for logo's! |
